92010 Concept Saab Sixten, let’s say now, is little more than the figment of a fan of the Swedish brand. That, like many others, is experiencing a new period of enthusiasm and hope after the acquisition of the house by Spyker. The designers of which we are talking about today, in reality, we know already: This is Ed Gray, author of the recent 9 + Tribute.

This new prototype in its name pays homage to Sixten Sason (his real name was Andersson, ed), Swedish designer known for some Husqvarna motorcycles, but also for many of the most popular Saab models. The number 92010 is a homage to the 92,001, the Ur-Saab, the first Saab ever built, designed precisely to Sason.

From then on, the brand has remained true to its design philosophy for decades, and after years of distortion of the brand, this seems to be born just like 92010 Sixten invitation to a back-to-roots approach to their new Dutch-owned called indirectly by evoking the DNA of the past through the future creations.
