Cam asa:
In plus, gaurile nu iti aduc beneficii mari reale.
DS2500 e cea mai accesibila in categoria asta.
siteul oficial:
Is ATE Ceramic a ceramic performance brake pad?
ATE Ceramic is not a high-performance pad; it is a pad designed for use in normal road traffic. Ceramics should not be confused with brake pads made of carbon fibres (reinforced silicon carbide) which are used, in combination with what are known as ceramic composite brake discs, in expensive sport and luxury vehicles. Ceramic pad friction materials – known as ceramics – consist in part of ceramic fibres, filler materials, binding agent and mild abrasive materials. Typically they are characterised by a more lightweight pad, reduced noise when braking, low wear and low generation of brake dust.
Is the braking performance ATE Ceramic comparable to that of original ATE or other OE brake pads?
The braking performance of ATE Ceramic provides maximum safety at the same level as original equipment. Our tests have shown that even professional test drivers were unable, even under extreme test conditions, to detect differences in braking performance between original ATE or other OE pads and ATE Ceramic.
Can I also use ATE Ceramic brake pads with the PowerDisc, or with perforated brake discs?
Yes, this is technically possible. The braking performance of this combination remains as good as with an ATE original or an OE brake pad. The way the two components work together, however, can result in an increase in braking noise. ATE Ceramic brake pads have been developed for the comfortable driver. Basically speaking, we recommend that ATE Ceramic brake pads are only used in combination with "normal", i.e. smooth, brake discs.
Why is ATE now offering an ATE Ceramic range in addition to the established original ATE?
ATE Ceramic is a new product for vehicles in the small, medium, and upper medium classes, whose drivers not only want outstanding braking performance, but also put a high value on the appearance of their vehicle and also therefore on clean wheel rims.
