Difference between Trionic 5 and 7 is mainly the MAF which the T5s don´t have and the B2x5-engines are of a "low friction" type, ie other pistons and cylinder walls (pistons typically less sturdy due to thinner material).
T25 and GT17 are Garrett turbos, TD04 Mitsubishi.
The B204E lacks the Magnetic Valve that controls boost, it runs on base boost only.
Difference between B204L and R are WG actuator, IC and ECU.
From this you can learn: the first 2 digits denote deplacement in litres 2.0 or 2.3, the last digit stands for engine family 4 being trionic 5 and 5 being trionic 7
